PADI Dive Master Courses

The PADI Divemaster course teaches you to be a leader and take charge of dive activities. Through knowledge development sessions, waterskills exercises and workshops, and hands-on practical assessment, you develop the skills to organize and direct a variety of scuba diving activities.

The PADI Dive master training builds on your newly acquired Rescue Course skill set to include supervision of students and certified divers. PADI Professionals are in demand all around the world, so it’s your chance to go diving in the most amazing, remote destinations. Whether you’d rather live aboard a dive boat for months, on an exotic tropical island, or anything in between, there will always be a fantastic adventure ahead. 

This course is a 3-6 week internship program that prepares you for dealing with safety issues, customer service, business and operational challenges. The PADI eLearning allows you to complete the first section of your course at your own pace, whenever and wherever is convenient for you… Even before arriving in Zanzibar! 

To start your PADI Dive Master training you need to hold a Rescue Diver certification and a current Emergency First Responder or senior first aid rating
including CPR training. If you wish to do these pre-requisite courses, please contact us for the latest pricing for a PADI Rescue Diver and Emergency First Responder. If you do these together the EFR course is reduced. If you are doing your Dive Master training with us, we can schedule in the Rescue and Emergency First Responder courses with your Dive Master training schedule.

Our course includes online Dive Master Manual, Encyclopedia and Workbook;  You can use our hire gear that you do not have (if it is available), but you will need your own PADI RDP, log book, timing device, dive knife/tool, torch, signaling device, safety sausage, underwater slates and mask/snorkel. You will receive special rates on all equipment purchased with us. You can dive virtually everyday as required during your course that is part of your course.

Prerequisites for Dive Master:

PADI Open Water Referal Course

The PADI Open Water Referral course is for the student who completed the classroom work and pool session for the Open Water Diver course with another dive shop and only needs to perform the four open water dives.

The full Open Water Certification will allow you to dive anywhere in the world to a maximum depth of 60ft/20m without the assistance of a PADI professional. It teaches student divers the fundamental knowledge and skills they need to dive, independently.

The PADI Open Water Diver course consists of three main phases: Knowledge development (online, home study or in a classroom) to understand basic principles of scuba diving, confined water dives to learn basic scuba skills and open water dives to review your skills.

 PREREQUISITES

  • You must be 10 years old or older.
  • You need adequate swimming skills – 200m swim, 10 min float
  • Good physical health. You will need to make sure that you can answer “No” to all the questions on the medical questionnaire, if not you will need medical clearance from a doctor
  • No prior experience with scuba diving is required.

Discover SCUBA Diving Course

The PADI Discover Scuba Diving is the perfect introduction to scuba diving for those who don’t feel ready to get certified yet. In this one-day, laid-back, exciting experience, one of our highly-trained PADI instructors will guide and supervise you during 2 dives at a maximum depth of 12m. Adults and children alike can enjoy the PADI Discover Scuba Diving, making it a great family adventure without prior experience or swimming skills required. 

Discover Scuba Diving is an ideal way to find out if you like diving before taking the next step of the adventure with the PADI Scuba Diver or Open Water Course. Discover Scuba Diving is not a certification, but it is registered with PADI. After completing Discover Scuba Diving, many divers decide to repeat the experience either immediately, or on other occasions in different areas.
